The Role

Akili is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to dig deep into our backend and data services and improve on this platform that supports Akili’s innovative products and the team that’s making them. From early clinical studies all the way to commercially available products in the hands of patients and their care teams, you will work with the rest of our talented tech team to transform how medicine is delivered.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated mastery of API and backend development security best-practices
  • Experience architecting backend API’s and data pipelines in AWS
  • 8+ years in Backend Engineering- and Data Engineering-centric roles.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA as it relates to data security best-practices on AWS

Compensation: 

Cash Compensation: 220k-270k annual base and additional incentive compensation
