The Position:
Reporting to the VP of Aizon Consulting Services, we are looking for a Project Manager Intern responsible for assisting with project meetings, helping to coordinate resources and project planning between stakeholders, and creating internal tools for project tracking / monitoring and managing the customer project portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Managing the right expectations with internal resources and assisting ACS management to meet Aizon’s goals and objectives.
- Coordinate internal resources to help with project execution.
- Promote best practices and work with internal resources to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Developing project scopes and objectives.
- Assist with managing Scrum boards and Jira Roadmaps for project progress.
- Perform Sprint meetings (Planning, Standup, Review, Retrospective).
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage relationships between internal stakeholders. .
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Being proactive and proposing efficiency improvements.
- Identify areas for process improvements.
- Help organize data scientists, quality engineers, usability experts, and clients to improve the Platform and expand the range of standard solutions.
Qualifications
- Must- have
- Technical background, preferably in Engineering (Industrial, Electronics, IT, Physics, Life Sciences).
- Desire to learn and execute Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience in Jira and Google suite.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Lean) and management of deadlines.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English and Spanish.
- Able to work in a team and project-oriented.
- Nice - have
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Functional knowledge in industrial applications such as ERP, SCADA, LIMS, or MES.
- Basic Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning algorithms.
- Basic understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and principles.
- Knowledge of Cloud Platforms and IIoT is valued.
- PMP Certification / other project management certifications
