The Developer Experience (DevX) team empowers our customers' developers to build the global payments and financial operations of the future with unparalleled ease and efficiency. We achieve this by providing a comprehensive and delightful developer ecosystem that removes friction at every stage of the development lifecycle. We continuously improve through customer feedback, internal collaboration, and AI integrations.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with product, engineering, customer success, and technical support teams to refine and streamline the developer experience of our customers.

• Architect our customer-facing APIs to withstand the growth of the next 10 years.

• Build Server and Client SDKs (webhooks, simulation, dev environments, etc.).

• Construct a world-class developer portal/docs with AI as a core feature.

• Contribute to open source and foster a developer community.

• Improve API releases and versioning story.

• Incorporate the latest technologies and elevate our tech stack.

• Build the best self-serve integration experience.

We would love to hear from you if you have:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.

• A passion for building delightful developer-facing products.

• Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages, including but not limited to Typescript, Java, Kotlin, or Python.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Evidence of working on high-volume distributed systems.

• Strong cloud experience with GCP (preferred) or AWS (EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudFront, etc.) with Docker and Kubernetes.

While not required, it would be a nice bonus if you also have:

• Released and maintained well-known APIs or have API design experience.

• Experience within the financial domain.

• Led major migrations in software that involved breaking changes.

• Worked in both early-stage startups (<20) and 1000+ sized companies.

• Deep proven technical knowledge of either front-end and/or backend systems.

• Worked in developer experience or other customer-facing engineering roles.
