Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Customer Line Digitalization Project Manager to join our Customer Line Transformation department.
 

The digitalization project manager at Airbus will play a critical role in leading all aspects of and driving digital transformation projects that align with our strategic objectives. Will be responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery of these projects, ensuring they drive efficiency, competitiveness and customer satisfaction.

Our Engineers at the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing facility take our aircraft from concept to customer delivery – working with production teams on every aspect of assembly from managing technical information, quality control, maintenance tasks and health & safety –along flowlines and flightlines. Your working environment:
Nearby on ‘Airbus Way’ you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. The facility, which strengthens the U.S. aerospace industry, is part of Airbus’ strategy to enhance its global competitiveness by meeting the growing needs of its customers in the United States and beyond.

Your Challenges:

Project Management: 70%

  • Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and resource allocation.

  • Project Execution: Lead project teams, ensuring project achievements and deadlines are met. Monitor and manage project risks, issues and changes. Keep stakeholders advised of project progress.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates, status reports, and addressing concerts.

  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure the organization accepts and adapts to digital transformation initiatives.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring efficient resource allocation.

  • Team Leadership: Manage and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring each team member understands their roles and responsibilities.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices and are sustainable.

2. Digital MFT : 30%

  • Digital Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of the digital transformation strategy, aligning projects with the overall business strategy.

  • Technology Integration: Oversee the integration of new digital technologies and solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and deliver value.

Your boarding pass:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Business or Management, IT, Project Management)

  • 3 to 5 years of experience

  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP)

  • Experience using LBIP+/DMAIC methodology

  • Experience in leading Agile project management

  • Must be proficient in G-Suite

Knowledge, Skills, Proven Capabilities:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent experience as a project manager, preferably with a focus on digital transformation

  • Ability to galvanize a team together to reach the project goals

  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends and standard processes

  • Demonstrated effective communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills in math and science

  • Able to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal direction in order to meet deadlines

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects while dealing with a high volume of complex information and specific deadlines

  • Experience in change management and driving organizational culture change Preferred
