Airbus is looking for several Software Engineers to join in Bangalore, India. 

One key component of this Digital Transformation is the implementation of solutions to enable the data-value chain in Airbus and its Division and to make the best use of Data in Airbus, whether to optimize our business processes or to create new business values via data monetization. 

The data-value chain encompasses solutions to create, capture, connect, ingest, transport, process, expose and visualize data, data coming from Airbus, Customers (Airlines), Aircrafts (in-flight data), Suppliers and other Third-party entities. 

In that context, the IoT platform is key in achieving Airbus' goal. Challenges are numerous and exciting! Help us Drive Digitalization!

Are you ready to share this exciting challenge with us? 

1) Postgraduate Graduate in Information Technology or equivalent with 3-7 years of IT experience 2) Experience in Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Google, OVH (any certification will be appreciated), 3) Proven hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases (Postgres, Cassandra, HBase, Aurora, DynamoDB etc.) 

4) Experience in building custom back-end solutions and applications built on top of the core platform 5) Programming languages: Python/Golang/Java/Scala/C++ or similar languages 

6) Streaming analytics, real-time processing and ingestion systems, using solutions such as Storm, Spark-Streaming, Kafka, etc. 

7) Knowledge of REST API using Spring, Spark, Django, Mulesoft, API Gateway… 

8) CI/CD and test-driven development and Test automation knowledge (Jira Xray, Postman, Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins, Git) 

9) Experience with: 

- AWS IoT environment 

- Frameworks like AngularJS, React, JavaScript, Typescript 

- Linux and/or Windows system administration 

10) Unwavering commitment to operational security and best practices 

11) Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects 

12) French language knowledge will be an added advantage

Responsibilities 

1. Build products for human-driven analysis of real-world data at scale, while maintaining an intuitive user experience and a wide range of analytic capabilities, 

2. Involve in all parts of the product life cycle: idea generation, design, prototyping, planning, execution, and shipping 

3. Design and develop high-quality product features from end-to-end (DevOps), highly scalable, highly available by using a variety of frameworks and tools 

4. Monitor performance of data transformation pipelines across the Data Lake and advise any necessary infrastructure changes, 

5. Conduct researches on new technologies and solutions, complete proof of concepts, apply these new findings into our current environment, 

6. Standardize the quality assurance procedures for software engineering, oversee testing and develop fixes, 7. Define best practices for product delivery teams from a software development perspective 8. Define & implement new processes and refining the existing ones.
