HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of a project based FV implementation team. The mission of the team is to prepare, implement, execute and review the functional tests which validate the on-board software of the system, across a combination of simulated and hybrid test benches.

At technical level, you will understand and be able to handle the avionics tests set up with real hardware equipment and/or simulation. In terms of desirable behaviors, you will have a strong quality ethic, be results oriented, flexible and have a proactive approach.

  • Develop the project FV implementation cost-base & delivery plan with support from the FV Team Leader

  • Manage the day-to-day FV implementation team activities (resource deployment, support…)

  • Control the costs & schedule of the on-going activities

  • Establish the necessary and sufficient test configuration to perform the FV implementation tasks

  • Support project FV test engineers through participation in test review meetings such as test readiness reviews (TRR), post-test reviews (PTR) & test review boards (TRB), etc.

  • Support the FV Team Leader to develop and harmonise FV activities cross-project / transnationally

  • Maintenance of an up to date project plan for the FV implementation team

  • Validation of the specific project functional chains through end to end open loop tests (AOCS, DHS, ...)

  • Validation of the nominal & reconfiguration functions of the sub-assembly through closed loop tests

  • Development and debug of Automated Test Procedures (ATP) and scripts, typically in ELISA language

  • Execution of the ATPs on the various test benches

  • FV test data analysis and Test Report Compilation

  • Investigation of anomalies and diagnosis, determination of root cause (equipment, environment model, software flight, test bed, data bases, procedures, tests specifications, simulators)

  • Provide expertise and support to OPS/AIT/ design architect/system engineers
