SUMMARY
Next Generation Interagency Intelligence and Cyber Operations - The customer mission aims to build communities of Innovators to generate innovative solutions to national security problems to support DoD, Intelligence Community, and other government organizations. Create new opportunities for national security service by building models of service that account for generational and cultural differences between the military, academic, and venture communities and providing flexible pathways to official service within the DoD.
Interagency Intelligence and Cyber Operations (ICON) The Next Generation Interagency Intelligence and Cyber Operations (ICON) task intends to address the ongoing need to deliver new and expedient capabilities to the intelligence and DoD’s network of cyberoperations stakeholders. Continuation of support under the COCOM Cyber Mission Support (CCMS) task order. The multi-tenant, project-based procurement sponsored by NSIN to support its Mission Partner network with implementing cyber solutions across various DoD and Intel programs. This is a unique opportunity to work across the cyberspace operations community supporting NSIN’s Mission Partners, such as, United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) and the Cyber Mission Forces (CMF); Geographic and functional COCOMs; Joint Task Forces (JTF); Service cyberspace components (e.g., Marine Forces Cyber Command (MARFORCYBERCOM) and U.S. Fleet Cyber Command (FCC); DoD component services and agencies; Intelligence agencies.; Homeland Security operational components Partners.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· The engineer will focus on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprints. · Responsible for applying systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
· Interact with ICON project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
· Communicate with other Technical Direction Plan (TDL) project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executives.
· Responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.
· Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
· Supervise and mentor subordinate project and ICON Innovation Collaborative (IIC) staff.

Environmental Conditions
· Contractor site with 0%-10% travel possible. Possible off-hours work to support releases and outages. General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are not hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
