Role Overview:
Aeva is seeking a Technical Program Manager with strong experience in managing design and verification activities of ASICs
What you'll be doing:
- As part of this position, your responsibilities will involve driving front-end activities of ASICs including architecture, design and verification
- Active collaboration with technical leads to define chip specifications and co-ordinate to drive chip architecture and micro-architecture
- Develop a project plan using resources and estimates from functional leads, identifying gaps and risks
- Working with vendors on IP due diligence, selection and procurement
- Identify and prioritize project risks and impacts. Drive escalation to senior management
- Drive closure on technical issues and development roadblocks to ensure high-quality ASIC implementation
- Effectively communicate program risks/status regularly to key stakeholders
- Be a clear communicator with a proven ability to work across functions inside the company, and with partners across the globe.
What you'll have:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in SOC/ASIC front-end activities
- Experience working with external IP vendors
- Experience working with teams across multiple locations
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Own project development using well-defined metrics
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and proactive while demonstrating creative & critical thinking
- Experience working on Jira, Confluence, Project Management tools such as Smartsheets, MS Projects
Nice to haves:
- Prior design or verification hands-on experience in building complex ASICs
- Familiarity with developing ISO 26262 functional safety design
