Aescape is seeking a Software engineer for Manufacturing testing - contractor. We have some great subsystem and hw/sw integration testing needs at Aescape and are looking for a proactive, strong engineer to join us.
This role is based onsite in Taiwan

What You’ll Do
Work cross functionally with the Aescape SWE and HW teams to test software tests and scripts.
Help develop some of the testing and scripting done at the manufacturing site.
Validate system subcomponents in the factory and report on quality and or failed testing.
Follow and validate defined SOPs for Manufacturing provisioning and testing
What You’ll Bring
A meticulous, proactive engineer with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
Preferably working with manufacturing test or NPI.
2 or more years as a SWE, preferable in test engineering or manufacturing test.
2- 5 years experience in Python scripting and development.
Comfortable and capable with scripting in Linux and working in a Linux Environment.
Installing device drivers.
Experience with networking setup and issue triage.
Willing to travel, ~ 40%.
Nice To Have But Not Required
Experience with linux shell scripting.
Experience with MySQL.
