Engagement Platform Team :

Engagement Platform Team is building a platform to facilitate real-time experiences for millions of active users at scale. Team is also building solutions to help evaluate experiments related to promotions to design choices, to determine which variation is the best suited. Team is building an engagements solution to target users with dynamic content and messaging and tracing thereafter. The platform built will enable hundreds of experimentations at scale with ability to Measure and monitor the quality via deep observability across the stack to ensure efficient engagements. This new platform will allow developers and product teams to automatically collect high definition analytics by efficiently routing and leveraging data between multiple internal adobe solutions with very low performance overhead, all while keeping security and privacy paramount.

Responsibilities : 

As a member of this team, you will build out new UI components, core end-user-facing experiences and improve the performance of our front-end. 

You will help us architect, write and optimize new, scalable services, flexible and powerful APIs to support other developers, quality, and performance.

You will get a chance to tackle significant engineering challenges, such as :

  • Designing foundational front-end infrastructure to support UI dialogs, marketing promotions templates, etc
  • Building complex user interfaces for composing messages
  • Building libraries for tracking events, analysing data, and orchestrating user journeys
  • Building and supporting Micro-Services
  • Extending, optimizing, and future-proofing all parts of our front-end stack
  • Collaborating with UI/UX designers, Frontend Architects, and Product Managers to design and implement modern, delightful, and intuitive features

Requirements :

  • 4+ years of experience developing sophisticated front-end for web applications with responsive designs, modular and loosely coupled code.
  • Experience creating and maintaining micro-services.
  • Experience with modern Javascript and frameworks (e.g. Web Components, React, ES6, TypeScript, Vue, Angular, GraphQL) and architectures like MVC/Flux/Redux
  • Extensive Knowledge of Web Standards and modern browsers, both at their API level and their internals (JS engines, browser performance, reflow, repaint, shadow DOM, progressive rendering, Service Workers, CDNs, CSS resetting, normalising, SCSS, etc.).
  • Interest in ElasticSearch, Node.js, Python, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, and Amazon DynamoDB, S3Kubernets, Elastic Containers
  • Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and distributed system design/implementation, and ability to debug
  • Experience with unit, integration and end to end testing
  • Maintain and troubleshoot parts of production environment
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
