We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Adobe Journey Optimizer team based in Bucharest. You'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, testing, and improving software and new products that shape the digital experiences of people worldwide.

Adobe Journey Optimizer helps companies deliver connected, contextual, and personalized experiences to their customers. From the first spark of interest to the final purchase, every step of the customer journey matters. By harnessing the power of Adobe Experience Platform, our team enables brands to engage customers with tailored interactions that leave a lasting impression.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with diverse teams to solve customer-focused challenges.

• Uses standard methodologies, articulates ideas, & markets them across team and organization. Share your expertise and promote a culture of continuous learning.

• Lead the design of scalable and resilient software solutions.

• Bring your creativity to life by prototyping innovative approaches.

• Mentor team members to cultivate growth and development.

What you'll need to succeed:

• A passion for crafting exceptional software experiences.

• 5+ years of experience in web or software development.

• Strong skills in Java, Object-Oriented Programming Principles, and Design Patterns.

• Curiosity, tenacity, and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

• Excellent organization and communication skills.

• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud providers, Kubernetes and Docker

• Experience with web technologies such as REST, JSON, and Spring Boot.

• Expertise with config management tools (Terraform/Ansible/Salt-stack/Puppet), NoSQL (Hadoop/Cassandra/MongoDB) and with monitoring and logging solutions (preferably Prometheus, Splunk, Grafana)is a plus

• Bonus points for knowledge of Kafka, NoSQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools.
