The Opportunity

Our team is passionate about supercharging creativity with Generative AI! We are looking for a strategic product marketing executive for Adobe’s Firefly category driving Generative AI “thought leadership” for Adobe, partnering across all creative categories to drive Gen AI innovation across all surfaces, and driving strategy for how we bring to market new models and new Gen AI capabilities on firefly.adobe.com. This role will be accountable for driving business results in collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams. This is a highly visible position that requires clear critical thinking and ability to implement all the way down to the nitty gritty details. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Gen AI driven creative ideation, exude ownership of the business and be able to demonstrate the ability to influence teams in Product, Marketing, GTM, Communications and more in a matrixed environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive the overall Firefly marketing strategy
  • Partner closely with product management on defining Firefly.adobe.com product strategy  and Firefly-powered innovation cross-portfolio
  • Drive strategic updates and discussions with senior executives
  • Develop deep knowledge of the Firefly business, generative models, differentiated capabilities in terms of creative control, content quality and supported content type and be the expert in market trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and market growth drivers in the Gen AI space.
  • Lead the annual planning process for the business and deliver the 3-year growth strategy and business plan
  • Lead a growing team of product marketing leaders coaching them to drive impact.
  • Define the critical metrics for measuring success across Firefly product marketing activities
  • Lead a cross functional team to deliver on key success factors across all aspects of the GTM Strategy
  • Define a clear vision for the business and GTM strategy required to win in each category. This includes:
    • TAM, market share, competitive assessment
    • Target audience definition and priorities, customer needs
    • Growth levers across product, GTM, geos, partnerships
    • Pricing & Packaging
    • Marketing strategy
    • Value proposition and messaging
    • Distribution strategies including partnerships and ecosystem
    • Engagement strategy
  • Act as a change agent, guiding teams forward in a rapidly evolving environment

What You Need to Succeed

  • Be an experienced senior-level PMM and understand Creative professionals and their expectations from tools across different domains such as Photography, Imaging, Design, Layout, Typography, 3D, and Video.
  • Experience in the creative industry is desirable
  • Ideally a passion for the content creation space and for innovation in how creativity will be transformed by AI/ML
  • Strong EQ, influencing skills, and leadership ability, ideally including experience driving consensus in matrixed organizations.
  • Self-starter and proactive leader with 15+ years of building highly effective teams
  • Thrive and proven success influencing peers across product management, engineering, corporate marketing, and regional leaders in a high matrixed and global organization environment
  • Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills
  • Strategic problem solver who can identify and set short and long term strategic priorities
  • A drive to constantly optimize and improve, combined with a relentless focus on customer experience
  • “Owner-operator” working style
  • Proven success influencing peers across product management, engineering, corporate marketing, and regional leaders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $161,500 -- $360,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
