Make an Impact/ The role:

As a Junior Platform Engineer/SRE, you will learn and develop ownership in wrapping up the decentralization of our infrastructure over various locations whilst continuously scale it. At the same time, you will work with our team to make sure that our servers run smoothly and at their highest efficiency. You will work closely with our development and marketing teams to address their needs and scale out the infrastructure of our attribution pipeline and related technologies. You will have the possibility to work with different tech stacks such as Kafka, Aerospike, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Ceph, Docker, Kubernetes and more.

Empower Your Potential/ Responsibilities: 

• Work with Ansible to automate our infrastructure
• Provisioning servers with Gentoo or Ubuntu
• Contribute in building and maintaining our bare-metal infrastructure
• Support our highly customized and specialized environment
• Scale our infrastructure across various locations
• Work closely with the development and marketing teams
• Maintaining our infrastructure in a good condition

Bring Your Knowledge/ Experience & Qualifications:

• Passion and knowledge working with Linux
• Proven track record of fixing and improving customized scripts and software 
• Familiar or willing to learn the following technologies: Ansible, Aerospike, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Ceph, Docker, Kubernetes, Gentoo Linux, Ubuntu 
• Engagement in open source communities/upstreams is a big plus - we use open source software throughout our company and employ many developers/contributors to various upstreams (e.g. PostgreSQL, Gentoo Linux)
• Great team player who loves to learn and share knowledge
• Ownership and curiosity to understand problems until its resolution
• Great communication skills
