Summary: As a Software Development Engineer specializing in Data Engineering, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Your typical day will involve working with large datasets, designing and implementing data pipelines, and ensuring data quality and integrity. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. - Develop and maintain data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL processes. - Perform data analysis and modeling to extract insights and patterns from large datasets. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering and big data technologies, integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in data engineering, including designing and implementing data pipelines, data warehousing, and ETL processes. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. - Solid understanding of database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL. - Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. - Experience with data modeling and data analysis techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in data engineering. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
