Position Summary


You will work mainly with the internal development team to help design, build, and advise on developing the SDK with our tools and backend services in every step of the development phases such as testing, staging, and production. Some travel is required for this position to client locations.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:


  • Design and build Unity game client modules to interact with backend services
  • Work with other engineers to integrate the modules into the game client
  • Design and build plugins for Unity editor to be used by game engineers to integrate their games with our services
  • Perform any other design-related duties as required


Qualifications/Experience Required:


  • 5+ years C#
  • 3+ years Unity
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience developing Unity games
  • Excellent skills in debugging and troubleshooting C# code
  • Solid understanding of low-level architecture
  • Solid troubleshooting skills
  • Strong computer science and engineering background
  • Forward-thinking and up-to-date on current and emerging architecture patterns
  • Able to work with clients under tight deadlines, on distributed teams with fluid requirements
  • Flexibility in working with people with different timezones


Qualifications/Experience Preferred:


  • Familiarity with cloud web services (e.g. REST API, Websocket)
  • AAA game studio experience
  • Knowledge about Linux
  • Developed Unity clients libraries that consume web services
