As an DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for building, managing and automating our AWS infrastructure.

You will be working with engineering teams and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation.

What you will be doing:

• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production system using CloudFormation and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems.
• Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems.
• Design blue print architectures for use within wider engineer groups
• Support engineering groups with development and deployment of blueprinted services
• Evaluation of new technology alternatives and vendor products.
• System troubleshooting and problem resolution across various application domains and platforms.
• Automation of system alarming and monitoring processes
• Pre-production acceptance testing for quality assurance.
• Provision of critical system security by leveraging best practices and prolific cloud security solutions.
• Providing recommendations for architecture and process improvements.
• Definition and deployment of systems for metrics, logging, and monitoring on AWS platform.
• Designing, maintenance and management of tools for automation of different operational processes.

What will make you perfect for the job:

• Over three years of experience in provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments.
• Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda.
• Experience in code development in at least one high-level programming language, preferable Typescript or Python
• Knowledge of operating system administration.
• Experience in creation of highly automated infrastructures.
• Comprehensive knowledge regarding contemporary processes and methodologies for development and operations.
• Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements.
• AWS Disaster Recovery design and deployment across regions a plus.
• Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Manage your own time and work well both independently and as part of a team
• On call support for processes
