About the Role/Team:
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test who is an outstanding team player with a passion for improving software quality and customer experience through tools, automation, and smart testing.
You will be working closely with the broader SaaS platform team to plan, strategize, coordinate and execute quality assurance activities. You will also be the primary owner of the quality of React based User-Interface for various 10X Instruments.
You will engage with Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams to build end to end testing solutions and deliver exceptional products to our customers. What you will be doing:
- Create a detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for new features as part of a scrum team
- Develop automated UI and API tests using Selenium, TestNG/JUnit in an automation-focused QA culture
- Enhance our Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure
- Identify, document, track, and debug bugs for resolution
- Become a functional expert on the core team and help deliver a quality product
Minimum Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline or relevant experience
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Software QA Engineering in Cloud Applications and UI testing.
- 5 years of hands-on experience with automated testing tools using one of the following: Go, JavaScript, Selenium Webdriver, or Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience testing web applications, SQL databases, REST-based APIs, React applications in a microservices based architecture
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing methodologies
- Experience using Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS)

Below is the base pay range for this full time position. The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience. At 10x, base pay is also just one component of the Company’s total compensation package. This role is also eligible for 10x’s equity grants, its comprehensive health and retirement benefit programs, and its annual bonus program or sales incentive program.
