SUMMARY
This position supervises personnel who require concrete and specific instructions to fulfill processes and tasks that require basic technical, support or administrative knowledge and that imply a certain variety of action, but that must adhere to established norms and standards, as well as fulfill special controls. for SMT operations and/or Electronic Circuit Assemblies (PCBA's).
It is the responsibility of this position to ensure and plan that the processes and products meet the agreed specifications and quality standards for continuous improvement of the Operational Quality System (QMS). adhering to Jabil DR policies, in order to send products to the customer that meet their expectations.
The Quality Engineer has the authority to stop the plant processes that do not guarantee the immediate quality of the manufactured products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Preferably reduce to zero the number of customer rejections (CRR) and OBA.
• Comply with the objective established at the cell level of Yield, PPM's, LPA, QRQC, 5's
• Ensure that 100% of new products meet customer requirements at all times.
• Ensure 100% of the lines of work have the quality tools and equipment necessary for the best performance of
the process, including the MES QM capture and analysis systems and tests.
• Achieve and maintain standard certifications (ISO13485 / UL, etc) as applicable.
• Execute their activities and responsibilities according to the requirements of the management systems and
applicable standards within the organization, as well as knowing the policies and documents (visual aid,
instruction, procedures, etc.) corresponding to their work area.
• Leads the development, modification and maintenance of quality assessment and control plans and protocols
for the processing of materials into partially finished or finished products.
• Serve as Validation Owner. Responsible for the development, approval and execution of validation activities.
• Helps validation owners ensure validation processes are completed in accordance with relevant ISO
requirements (ISO 13485), 21 CFR Part 820, and local procedure requirements.
• Serves as auditor for validation processes.
• Leads the development and implementation of methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating
the accuracy and precision of products and production equipment.
• Leads the design and analysis of inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; performs
quality control tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess cost and determine liability, and determine liability
for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
• Correctly implement and use the Jabil Operating System (JOS) throughout your cell.
• Work in coordination with the cell members in the development of FMEA's, DOE's, Control Plans, etc., during
the introduction of new products.
• Attend MRB meetings and participate in the disposal of materials and / or product.
• Provide support to all Safety, Health and Environment (EHS) programs and initiatives in order to support our zero accident culture.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 6-8 years of experience

* Good knowledge of ISO 13485 and CFR Part 820
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
• Quality Systems: 6sigma, Gauge R&R, Plan control, 8D's, Design of experiments, SPC (statistical processcontrol), FMEA.
• Knowledge in ESD, IPC-610 and SMT.
