Job Description: 

Come join the TDATA Automated Material Handling (AMHS) controls team as a Software Engineer. This team is responsible for the software controls and data analytics to orchestrate thousands of robots and optimize material flow in our semiconductor factories worldwide. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the large-scale migration of the factory material control system (MCS) to the Applied Materials (AMAT) Class 5 product.In addition to Class 5 migration, we are investing in multiple areas that span software resiliency, factory optimization, data system development, and wafer fab sustaining and operations support. Areas of responsibility may include:- AMAT MCS system ownership including supplier engagement and roadmap management.- Framework creation and development to advance equipment system intelligence- Automation system integration and AMHS equipment optimization to maximize factory output- Software resiliency proposals, development, and implementation- System configurations to support bringing new equipment onlineThe candidate should also exhibit the following behavioral traits and/or skills:- Problem solving, analytical thinking, project management skills, team leadership skills, ability to multi-task several projects/issues at a time, and strong written and verbal communication skills.- Individual should display high tolerance for continuous changing environment.- Commitment to be in on-call rotation pool with our team of engineers. Qualifications:

You must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must possess a BS degree with 4+ years of experience or MS degree with 3+ years of experience or PhD degree with 1+ years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in the following: - Enabling AMAT MCS Class 5. Working knowledge of software configurations, site administration, and software testing. - Software design/development/validation - Fluent with Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Project, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of software development experience. - 1+ years of leading a team of solid technical personnel. -2+ years of experience in data analytics. -5+ years of experience with Automation systems (including AMHS). - Familiarity with a variety of languages: SQL, Python, LabVIEW. - Familiarity with networked system architectures. - Understanding of ML/AI algorithms at a base level.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California:$123,419.00-$185,123.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
